Randy Owen
Randy spent over 40 years in healthcare finance and executive management before retiring at the end of 2022.
He served in various finance roles with several physician and hospital related organizations early in his career before becoming the CFO for Emergency Medical Services in early 2005, through a combination of a national physician and ambulance business. The company went public in late 2005, grew significantly and was sold to another private equity firm in 2011. The company changed its name to Envision Healthcare when it went public again in 2013. The company merged with another physician related business in 2016 and he moved from a finance role to an operating
role.
Randy had operating responsibility for several key divisions including the ambulance business (AMR), the surgery center operation and several other smaller operations. Envision decided to spin off the ground ambulance business in late 2016 and sold the business to another private equity firm that owned a national air ambulance business in early 2018. The new combined business is Global Medical Response and he ran that business as CEO and President until his retirement at the end of 2022.
He currently serves on several boards and lives in Larkspur Colorado, just south of Denver.
